  1. I used to think I was a strong and outgoing person, but I’ve come to realize that I’ve been afraid of the world my whole life.
  2. I cry at touching tv commercials.
  3. My favorite girly movie is The Scarlett Letter.
  4. I wore an eyepatch when I was about 4 or 5 to try to fix my lazy eye (it worked). My mom would sew flower-patterned fabric into eye patches for me.
  5. When I was about 6, I told my mom I aspired to being a secretary. She tried to explain to me why that wasn’t empowering and I just wasn’t having it, I cried and screamed.
  6. I want to be a singer, but I have stage fright.
  7. I have a half brother. His name is Lauren James Ryder, but we call him Jamie.
  8. I’m constantly making lists. I used to forget things all the time, so I’ve overcompensated a bit and now every time I leave the house I’m paranoid that I’ve forgot something.
  9. I am what I call a “scientific atheist”. I am open to scientific explanations for the existence of metaphysical beings and goings-on, and I think there are a great many things we just don’t know that may be able to explain some spiritual or occult experiences.
  10. I was so interested in “Celtic Magic” as a teenager that it’s become part of my routine, although I’ve been trying to avoid it. I’m superstitious, I question potential omens and sometimes I burn or bury paper with my wishes written on it.
  11. Although I have low self esteem, in some ways I’m actually very conceited.
  12. I think all poetry is stupid except for works of Rumi, E.E.Cummings, Jack Kerouac, Lura and Julia.
  13. During middle school, most of my entertainment heroes were from MTV and most of them were black. This was fine because we didn’t have any black kids in our school. If we had and they’d seen me come in with corn rows they probably would have taken issue.
  14. I wore night diapers to keep from wetting my bed till I was about 7.
  15. I like social engagements where I don’t feel pressured to make conversation, but I like being the center of attention when pressed.
  16. I think if Jack Kerouac were alive now, I would make him the perfect girlfriend. He’s my dead soul mate.

I’m not going to tag anyone because this doesn’t work like facebook, I don’t have that many tumblr followers and Emer already named them anyway.
